"Pachamama ((estela)) has its roots in the Los Angeles socio-political music circuit. Pachamama, meaning Earth Mother, [plays] rhythms as heavy as it's [name]. These Reggae musicians have been consistently performing throughout Southern California since 2007. Pachamama has re-grouped [it's members] and is currently wrapping up their debut album. Release expected in early 2011.Pachamama is a fusion of Afro-reggae, Roots, and the many influences that have captivated the musical senses of the distinguished members of this group. Pachamama is constantly striving to produce the perfect synthesis of rhythm and harmony through word, sound, and power. They have performed [at the best] live entertainment venues [like] The House of Blues (Sunset), The House of Blues (Disney) The Highlands, The Mint, The Henry Fonda, The Roxy, and The Conga Room to name a few. [They also] have [performed at live musical festivals] such as LASS International Ska Reggae Festival, The Sun God Festival, and many others.They have shared the stage with such legendary acts as Lowrider Band, Panteon Rococo, La Maldita Vecindad, The Grammy Award winning Mariachi Divas, Estelle, Yami Bolo, Quinto Sol, Alika and Alton Ellis. Pachamama wishes to provide the musical medicine necessary to survive in tribulant times.
